Have you noticed that high-rise buildings are starting to sprout in various parts of Davao City? Davao City’s skyline will be undergoing  drastic changes with proposed high-rise buildings shooting up to the sky in what is seen as a physical testament that reinforces the city’s image as an investors’ haven and the premier metropolis in Mindanao.

There's construction all over the place like hotels, malls, condominium and hospital buildings sprouting up, all vying to alter the city's skyline.

On-going construction  in Davao City:

Abreeza Residences
 Abreeza Residences - a 26 storey condominium building (under construction) by Alveo, an affiliate of Ayala Land Inc. It will be a premier landmark and a masterpiece of architectural design that will forever change Davao's landscape.

Northpoint by Vista Residences
At 15-storeys high, Liverpool will have more indoor gardens that will give off fresh oxygen and create a cooler ambiance within the condo building. While Northpoint as a whole already has a fresh ambiance being surrounded by hundreds of imported Caribbean pine trees, this will be further enhanced by the indoor gardens.

Palmetto Place
Palmetto Place is another quality project of DMCI. This Davao condominium project offers the most affordable condo units in Davao City. Strategically located along the Maa Road, Davao City, just 5 - 10 minutes away from the premier commercial and  business districts in Davao City.

JTC Tower Palace Hotel
This is the latest and final design of architect Allan Cuyos at JTC TOWER. The exact name of this hotel is JTC Tower Palace Hotel and Convention Center. It has more than 300 guest rooms and suites. Convention center can accommodate more or less 2,000 persons

Tebow Cure Hospital
The Tebow CURE Hospital is a non-stock, non-profit specialty Hospital located in J.P Laurel Ave. Davao City, with a primary focus on pediatric orthopedics. It has 30-bed surgical facility focusing primarily on orthopedics.

Ateneo Community Center
ATENEO de Davao University (AdDU), one of the city's largest Catholic schools, gears up for the construction of its 12-storey community center, which will be the city's tallest educational tower so far.

Wee Siu Yen Condominium
 A 6 storey condominium, home of comfort and convenience in the heart of Chinatown.

Tune Hotel
Leading budget hotel brand Tune Hotels will open its branch,  located along JP Laurel Avenue, near MANA Davao. Owned and operated by the RED PLANET HOTEL LIMITED(RPHL), a privately-owned regional hotel investment company focused in Asia's emerging market.

Felcris Centrale
Felcris Centrale is a major development project to create a business community in one of the prime areas of Davao City. Located at Quimpo Boulevard fronting Land Transportation Office.

Gaisano Mall Toril
The Gaisano Mall Toril is one of many Gaisano Malls in Davao City. The 4-storey shopping mall is located in the peaceful and quiet neighborhood of Toril.

Aeon Towers
The FTC Group of Companies in Davao City allocated some P2.5 billion for the construction of its high-rise, state-of-the art mixed-use condominium along J.P Laurel Avenue. The target completion date will be on June 2016.

Abreeza Place
Abreeza Place is a 29-storey condominium project of Alveo, Ayala Land's, located in Abreeza Complex, J.P Laurel Ave. Davao City.

Davao Medical Scool Foundation
The Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF) will establish a 12-storey green building to house its various laboratories, classrooms and spa. Located at 2.5-hectare campus along DMSF Drive, Bajada Davao City.

King Dome
A 50,000-seater indoor cathedral, considered to be the largest in the world, will soon rise right here in Davao City inside  Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Name Above Every Name 23-hectare compound along the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway.
