Indeed, we can already feel the summer heat. Most of us are dreaming of white sand beach, or pine trees and cold climate but the truth is, we all need a vacation. A time to relax and unwind, time to release our stress load for a busy year of full work, to appreciate more the nature and most especially, Davao City, the beautiful place where we, dabawenyos proudly can say, Life is here. 1. Eden Nature Park and Resort
A popular choice amongst travelers in Davao, whether exploring or just passing through. Enjoying the spectacular view of Davao City and the Davao Gulf thru Skycycling, the newest favorite thrill of the resort. Right at the foot of Mt. Talomo, Eden Bayabas, Toril Davao City.

2. Davao White Water Rafting
Another must-try activity when in Davao City is white water rafting.  White water river rafting along the winding Davao River is one of the latest adventure activities in the city. A high adrenaline adventure, it cruises through 27 challenging rapids from Barangay Tamugan to Barangay Lacson in Calinan District. 

3. D' Leonor Hotel Inland Resort
Regarded as the biggest inland resort and one of the newest attractions in Davao City. This 26 hectare inland resort offers variety of adventure providing each guest with fun-filled experience and amusement in a theme park environment.
Facilities: surf rider, mini zoo,  fish pond,  zipline,  hanging bridge, cable car,wave pool and the raging river, tennis and basketball courts, an air conditioned chapel, commercial buildings, restaurants, a picnic area, and a clubhouse, shuttle, hotel and cottages.

4. Malagos Garden Resort
One of the most frequented destinations in Davao City. This paradise is quietly nestled in the cool highlands of Barangay Malagos in Calinan, Davao City, in a sprawling 12 hectare nature theme garden of towering forest trees and stately pine trees amid a rich diversity of flora and fauna of the City. It houses a landscaped garden of assorted tropical plants, century-old Durian and other fruit bearing trees, rare orchids, palms and other native ornamental plants; a Bird Park, a Butterfly Sanctuary; and a host of other wildlife species. 

5. Seagull Mountain Resort
One of the many popular destinations in Davao City. It is situated along the Bukidnon-Davao (BUDA) Road in Barangay Lorega, Marilog District, Davao City, and is nestled on a mountain about 4,200 feet above sea level. The Resort is widely known for its cool weather all year round, and thick mountain fog, (even in broad daylight!), that quietly crawls the lush greenery amidst tall Pine trees and wild flowers surrounding the entire area, making it a popular getaway for family outing.

6. Gumamela Caverock Farm Resort
A two-hectare mountain farm resort situated in a secluded, peaceful and tranquil farm in Purok 3, Barangay Matina Biao, Tugbok District, 21 kilometers away from Davao City. The land where the resort is situated is part of the Tolosa Family Estate which was occupied by the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII.

7. Forest Hill Resort
One of the most visited inland resort in Davao City located at La Vista Subdivision in Diversion road. It is surrounded by hills with forest trees giving a cool ambiance on the entire resort. A 20 minute taxi ride from the city center.

8. Eagle Ridge Resort
Davao’s newest get-away destination, situated in  km. 9, upper Ulas, Talomo, Davao City, is a perfect hideaway from city’s hustle and bustle. Surrounded by green lusheries and trees, any guest would be soothed and relaxed by the cool mountain breeze, relieving ones stress and tension.

Amenities in Davao Eagle Ridge resort include function halls ( up to 75 persons), various hotel rooms, fully furnished houses, athena's garden, anthon's grill, open dining hall, gazebo,  swimming pool, cabana, cottages  and playground. 

9. Villa de Mercedes
Another perfect resort offering a place for recreation and relaxation. A place that would give you a 360 degrees panoramic view of Davao City and Mt. Apo as well. Just 30 minutes away from the city, located in Catigan, Toril, Davao City.

10. Mergrande Ocean Resort
Formerly called Villa Victoria, now renamed Mergrande Ocean Resort is an 8.8 hectare beachfront resort in Talomo District about 25 minutes drive from downtown Davao City. It is classified as a Class AA Beach Resort by the Department of Tourism, and has been awarded as the No. 1 Beach Resort 2005 - 2008 in Davao City.

11. Water World 
It is only a 25- minute drive from downtown Davao. Located at Dumoy, Toril Davao City.

12. Seagull Beach Resort
The warm and calm waters and white powdery sand of Davao Seagull Beach attracts thousands of visitors to this place every year. Nestled along the shores of Punta Dumalag, in Matina Davao about 30 minutes from the city, this place is ideal for families and those who want to take their pets along while frolicking at the beach.

13. Villa Christina Resort
It has a garden full of orchids such as Cattleya, Vanda and other variety of imported orchids. They also have pomelo trees, macopa trees and also a big cage that houses different animals that are nurtured by the owner.  located at Los Amigos, Tugbok Dist., Davao City and is directly accessible through the Davao-Bukidnon Highway. 

14. Villa Carmelita Inland Resort
It has a huge swimming pool for adult, elevated part is 7 feet and it has kids pool  for 3 feet. Kids would also enjoy 3 slides and other amenities like playground. Located at Km. 14 McArthur Highway, Toril Davao City.

15. Lolengs Mountain Spring Resort
Another nature resort that commands a dramatic vista of metropolitan Davao. Blessed with a cool climate, it has accommodation, convention and sports facilities. It also has a vast playground, chapel, restaurant and a free-flowing spring water swimming pool. Located at Eden Bayabas, Toril, Davao City.
