The City Hall of Davao is one of the oldest landmarks in Davao City. Standing right at the heart of the city, this building was home of many mayors and one of the renowned mayor, Rodrigo Duterte.

The Davao City Hall has a big contribution on how Davao City became the progressive city in the country.
The City Hall building of Davao City, constructed in 1926 as a municipal building, was destroyed in 1945 during the Liberation Period.  After the Liberation of Davao, the government authorities started restoration work and the building was fully completed in 1947.

This building underwent several renovations and expansions through the years.  However, the original design of the fa├žade remains the same.

City Hall houses the Executive Branch of the City Government of Davao, namely the Office of the City Mayor and the different executive departments of the Local Government Unit.
